James has been successful with his fitness for the simple reason of embracing the WITTFIT MERIT principles. Despite going in and out of lockdowns he didn't make excuses, instead he focused on what he could do and trusted the process which has yielded him spectacular results.
He has now lost 14kgs of Fat, while maintaining and building muscle. He has much more strength & energy which means he gets to spend more time in the water doing his sports like Kitesurfing & Winging. He has better posture and is less prone to injury!
Here is what we have noticed about how James has applied the MERIT principles.
James always makes an effort to move correctly, having said that he did learn the hard way! On one occasion he lifted a heavier weight than normal which meant that he lost form, he aggravated a previous injury which put him out of action for a week! Not that it stopped him coming back.
He definitely does that! We usually have a laugh when James is at the gym and always find something to laugh about, not matter how hard the workout is! He definitely does not whine or complain about the workout, he gets on with it and works hard.
Never worries about looking stupid, asks for help when he needs it and doesn't let his ego get in the way of training or trying to lift a specific weight.
James was honest with himself at the start of training at WITTFIT he knew he was drinking too much beer and eating a bit to much rubbish food. Thanks to his ability to be honest with himself and not letting his ego get in the way, he made some reasonably small changes which have made all the difference over the past 6 months.
James shows up pretty much every week without fail, unless there is some watersports to be done, which is why he wanted to get fitter in the first place!
